Christopher Johnsen

Flame Youth Leader

Chris has been a follower of Jesus since September 11th, 2021. He is currently a 7th grade teacher at South Middle School and also leads our Flame Youth Group at Living Word. He is passionate about being real with kids and relating to them, creating genuine relationships with them. His heart is to minster the Gospel to kids who have never heard the name of Jesus and to ones who have grown up hearing. He is anointed to teach our youth and bring them the truth that will set them free. He leads Flame Youth along with his wife, McKenzie.

After all that, Chris loves hip hop music, reading, and being creative! He loves being around new people and getting to know them on a personal level. He is also a huge North Carolina Tarheels basketball fan! He loves to play basketball, work out, and drink coffee with his wife in his free time!
